The roof at Red Lodge Community Pool is the original roof that was placed on the building when it was built, the roof has got sunlight sheets going down the sides of the roof that let natural light through, these have been getting sun damaged and don't look very attractive.

 

As we all know the cost to heat our homes is ever rising and this is the same at the pool. We are taking a keen interest in our carbon footprint and we want to reduce this as the best we can, so by getting a more modern roof this will help us maintain heat in the building which will have a substantial impact in our daily operation as we will be using less gas to heat the pool and less electricity to light the pool areas.

 

We are looking at raising money in various ways to get a new roof. We are hoping to stage a drama production in the near future, so if you can help in anyway please speak to Dan. Actors, singers, Dancers, Front of house staff, catering, Backstage crew, people to do make up etc are all needed and warmly welcomes. No minimum or maximum age for all the above and no previous experience needed.

 

Over the coming months we are hoping to hold a sponsored swim, a sponsored cycle and other various fundraising events.
