About Red Lodge Community Pool 
 
We are celebrating our 10th year as a Community run swimming pool.  We are a charitable organisation that was setup in April 2000 following the threat of closure in 1999.
 
 
 
Pool Facts:
 
  • The 20 metre by 8 metre pool has graded depth from 0.75 m down to 1.75 m which is ideal for both young children and more experienced swimmers.

 

  • Lanes are marked on the pool floor and can be supplemented by floating lines.

 

  • A poolside lift permits disabled swimmers to enter and leave the pool.

 

  • There are two sets of changing rooms, so a school, club or private booking has exclusive use of a separate changing room during their session.

 

  • Spectators, friends and families can watch the swimmers from the viewing room.

 

  • Outside shoes are prohibited in the pool area (overshoes are provided).

 

  • Swimming hats must be worn during all junior lessons.
