THE TRUSTEES of Red Lodge Community Swimming Pool made a splash with the Daily Echo's parent company Gannett and won a grant of £4,000. It will pay for new lockers to be installed at the pool.
Charity trustee Penny Cooper said: "We were delighted to get this award. It will really help the swimming pool continue to go from strength to strength.
"We would like to thank the Daily Echo and Gannett and say the money has been very gratefully received."
Pool manager Alan Ayles said: "This is a great pool and we have lots of school groups and disabled classes but this money will help us improve the facilities."
